Special Collections and Archives focuses on collecting
in the following areas: the history of George Mason University, the
history of Northern Virginia, planned communities, theater, photographs
and transportation. Types of items in SC&A's holdings include
manuscripts, rare books, photographs, slides, maps, drawings, playbills,
posters, musical scores, architectural drawings, audio and videotapes,
and digitized materials.
